Knights Place 6th Among Tough Field at Manny Bautista Invite
Among a tough field that included the top three ranked teams in the state and a Division I team (USD), the Knights competed well at the Manny Bautista XC Invite hosted by Mesa College and took sixth place out of 10 teams.

Diandra Jara (21:01) and Isabelle Dalton (21:23) once again went 1-2 for the Knights with both recording course personal bests as they finished in 40th and 47th place, respectively.
A standout performance came from freshman Pauline Monganga who continued her steady improvement and chopped another 45 seconds off her personal best as she ran the 5k course at Liberty Station in 25:48.
In her second race of the season, Glennis Lopez (24:10, 80th) was a top-3 runner for City for the first time.
The Knights look forward to two solid weeks of preparation for the PCAC championship at their home course (Morley Field) on October 20.
