KNIGHTS EARN 3RD AT PCAC CHAMPIONSHIP AND QUALIFY FOR SOCAL REGIONALS
Joanna Lopez, Nayeli Villareal, and Yesenia Huerta earned All-PCAC honors by finishing in the top 15 at Friday's PCAC championship and helped the team earn third place.

Lopez was the first to cross the finish line in a dual meet against Imperial Valley last week and she was the Knights' top runner again on Friday as she placed ninth overall with a time of 22:23.4 in the 5k race at Morley Field.
She was followed by Villareal who crossed the finish line in 10th with a time of 22:43.2 and Huerta who came in 11th with a time of 22:50.2.
Calysta Lopez (24:32.8) and Emma Teresko (24:33.9) were the next City runners to cross the finish line as they ended up in 20th and 21st, respectively.
Joann Murray (29th, 25:52.9) and Barbara Saucedo (33rd, 27:12.5) rounded out the top seven for the Knights as they helped the Knights qualify for the SoCal regional meet on November 8 at Tecolote Shores in Mission Bay.
It is the third straight consecutive year that the Knights have qualified for the regional meet, which is a record.
