KNIGHTS WIN DUAL MEET VS. IVC

San Diego City's Joanna Lopez was the first to cross the finish line on Friday as she helped the Knights win a dual meet vs. Imperial Valley at Balboa Park.

Lopez ran the 2-mile course in 13:53 and was joined in the top-5 by two other Knights, including Nayeli Villareal (14:05) and Yesenia Huerta (14:28) who finished third and fifth, respectively.

Calysta Lopez (6th, 15:02), Barbara Saucedo (8th, 16:04), and Joann Murray (9th, 16:30) all made the top-10 as the Knights defeated Imperial Valley, 22-36.

The series, which began in 2016, is now tied 2-2.
