Lewis Records Triple-Double in Win
D'Ajanae Lewis recorded her first career triple-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals in Wednesday night's 67-41 home victory over Cuyamaca. Dahlia Blake also filled the stat sheet with 18 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, five steals, and three blocks to help City win its second straight game.

The Knights had a terrible start against Cuyamaca as they went 2-for-19 (10.5%) from the field in the first quarter, but only trailed by seven points after 10 minutes of play.
Cuyamaca took it's largest lead, 16-7, early in the second quarter, but the Knights scored eight straight to get within a point.
After falling behind by eight again, the Knights got back to within four (27-23) by halftime.
City used a 14-2 run in the third quarter to turn a 6-point deficit into 37-31 lead and ended up outscoring Cuyamaca, 23-8, in that period with Lewis and Blake combining for 17 points to help turn the game around.
The Knights saved their best shooting of the game for the fourth quarter when they made 40.9% of their field goals. They held Cuyamaca to 1-of-15 (6.7%) shooting in the final quarter and outscored them, 21-6 as City's lead ballooned to as many as 26.
San Diego City's defense only allowed one point in the final 5:03 of the game.
Aamori Daniels scored nine points with eight rebounds, three assists, and four steals off the bench.
Liliana Maldonado added seven points, four rebounds, and five steals.
The Knights will play their final home game of the season on Friday at 7 p.m. against Mesa. Sophomores Lewis, Maldonado, and Ximena Caballero will be honored as they play their final home game as Knights.
