Mallari and Perkins Sign With 4-Year Schools
Two Knights that played their freshman seasons at San Diego City in 2024 have moved on and signed with 4-year universities, including centerfielder Ari Mallari and pitcher Kylie Perkins.
Two Knights that played their freshman seasons at San Diego City in 2024 have moved on and signed with 4-year universities, including centerfielder Ari Mallari and pitcher Kylie Perkins.
Mallari signed her scholarship to play softball at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco and Perkins will play at Grace University in Laguna Nigel.
Mallari was selected to the All-PCAC second team after providing great defense as the Knights' center fielder in 2024 and was also very productive on offense as she led the team in hits (39), RBI (25), triples (5), runs scored (32), stolen bases (10) and tied for best batting average (.361). Mallari was also second on the Knights in doubles (4) and home runs (3).
