Krisell With 8 Strikeouts in Win Over Golden West
Relief pitcher Cadence Krisell allowed only one hit with eight strikeouts in the final five innings to help the Knights get an 8-4 road win at Golden West on Monday with Cali De La Rosa and Madison Dagnino combining for seven hits.

The Knights got on the board first with two runs in the top of the first after an RBI single from Ari Mallari and a sacrifice fly from Mykala Mercado.
Golden West, however, also scored two in the bottom of the first and then took a 3-2 lead with a run in the second inning.
After going scoreless in the second and third innings, Madison Dagnino tied the game at 3-3 with an RBI single in the fourth that brought Krisell home.
Then, in the fifth, Krisell helped her own cause by producing a run off a sacrifice fly to give City a 4-3 lead.
After Golden West tied it once again in the bottom of the fifth, the Knights put the game away with a 4-run sixth.
De La Rosa singled in the go-ahead run and Ari Mallari followed with her own RBI single. Shayann Beddow then put an exclamation point on the inning with a double to left field that put two more runs on the board to give City the 8-4 lead they would hold on to.
