Barajas, Mallari Commit to Knights
San Diego City's fresh new roster for the 2024 season now has two more additions with Karah Barajas and Ari Mallari joining the squad.
San Diego City's fresh new roster for the 2024 season now has two more additions with Karah Barajas and Ari Mallari joining the squad.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Barajas comes to the Knights after playing softball at West Florida High School in Pensacola, Fla. She is a righty with experience at second base and in the outfield.
"I couldn't have picked a better place to begin my adulthood," said Barajas.
Mallari is a right-handed outfielder from Del Norte High School in San Diego. I'm excited to stay local and continue to play softball at City College," said Mallari. It's going to be a great experience for me academically and physically, and I am eager to see what lies ahead during my time as a Knight."
Head Coach AJ Hull's team now has 12 players committed for the 2024 season.
