Christian Juarez Sets PR at Mesa Invite

Christian Juarez was the lone runner for the Knights at the Manny Bautista Cross Coutry Invite, hosted by San Diego Mesa College and held at Liberty Station's NTC Park, and he completed the 4-mile course in 23:35.8, which was a new personal record.

Christian Juarez was the lone runner for the Knights at the Manny Bautista Cross Coutry Invite, hosted by San Diego Mesa College and held at Liberty Station's NTC Park, and he completed the 4-mile course in 23:35.8, which was a new personal record.

Juarez finished 103rd overall in what was the largest community college meet in the state with 195 runners. His previous personal record of 23:36.1 was set last week at the Coach Downey Classic, held at Morley Field. 

Juarez, along with the rest of the team, will have three weeks to prepare for the PCAC championship meet, which will take place on October 28 at Norco College with the start time TBA.
