KNIGHTS PLACE 3RD AT PCAC CHAMPIONSHIP; ORDUNO AND JIMENEZ MAKE ALL-PCAC
San Diego City's men's cross country team finished third at the PCAC championship on Friday at Morley Field with Anthony Orduno and Omar Jimenez placing in the top 10.
San Diego City's men's cross country team finished third at the PCAC championship on Friday at Morley Field with Anthony Orduno and Omar Jimenez placing in the top 10.
Orduno led the way for City by coming in seventh place with a time of 21:47.8 and Jimenez was right behind him with an eighth place finish in 22:10.2. They both earned a spot on the All-PCAC team by finishing in the top 15.
Cisco Gonzalez (20th, 22:50.8) and Sebastian Luna (23rd, 23:21.4) made it into the top 25 as they helped the team earn a spot at the SoCal regionals, which will be held on November 8 at Tecolote Shores in Mission Bay at 11 a.m.
Alan Lozoya (27th, 23:53.1), Arturo Sandoval (31st, 24:19.4) and Adolfo Cisneros (33rd, 24:30.6) rounded out the top seven for the Knights.
