The final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of the 2023 season were released on Tuesday and the Knights finished as the No. 18 team in the state after going 9-7 overall and 8-4 in the Inland Empire Conference, which was good for third place.

The Knights, who have now had six consecutive winning seasons, also had three singles players in the top-56 and two doubles teams in the top-46.
Brian Espinoza, City's No. 1 singles player, advanced to the round of 32 at the state championship tournament in Ojai and earned a final ranking of No. 18 in the state.
Epinoza and his doubles partner, Eduardo Castillo, made it to the round of 16 at the state championship and finished as the No. 10 doubles team in California.
Castillo, City's No. 2 singles player, played in the round of 64 at Ojai and came in at No. 39 in the state.
Porter Niccum, the Knights No. 3 on the ladder, finished as the 56th-ranked singles player in California.
Niccum and his doubles teammate, Danny Cao, played in the round of 64 at the state championship and came in as the No. 46-ranked team.
