KNIGHTS SET TO PLAY IRVINE VALLEY IN 1ST ROUND PLAYOFF

The PCAC champion Knights are seeded No. 8 and will travel to No. 1 Irvine Valley on Tuesday, April 11 for a CCCAA dual team regional playoff set for 2 p.m.

City's eight-match win streak was snapped by Saddleback last Thursday as the Knights fell, 7-2, in the final regular season match. The Knights finished 13-4 overall and 12-0 in the PCAC, their best season under Head Coach Brandon Lupian.

The 2017 season was the second consecutive season that the Knights have won at least 10 games. It's also the third time since 2009.

The winner of Tuesday's dual match will advance to play the winner of No. 4 Ventura and No. 5 Saddleback on Tuesday, April 18.
