KNIGHTS EARN ITA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM AWARD

The 2015 San Diego City College men's tennis team has been named one of only eight Junior/Community College Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Teams. In addition, five Knights including Christian Baiza, David Lin, Cuong Nguyen, Logan Rinder, and Dominic Villamor were tabbed ITA Scholar Athletes.

In order to qualify as ITA Scholar Athletes, the five Knights had to be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

The Knights earned the ITA All-Academic Team award by having a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above.
