Bio

Cameron Roget is in his second year as an assistant coach of the San Diego City College men's soccer team. He is originally from San Diego and had the privilege of attending San Diego High School, School of International Studies, where he discovered his love for soccer and embarked on a journey that would shape his career. During his college years, Roget had the incredible opportunity to play soccer at CSU Dominguez Hills after playing a season with the Knights in 2010. It was at CSUDH that he and his team achieved something truly remarkable - winning the NCAA National Championship. "The experience was unforgettable and further fueled my passion for the sport," said Roget.

His professional career has taken him to different corners of the globe, including Trinidad and Tobago, Finland, and Holland, where he honed his skills and embraced new challenges.

"Representing Trinidad and Tobago on the international stage was a tremendous honor for me," said Roget. "I had the privilege of participating in various prestigious events, including the youth World Cup, Olympic qualifiers, and Pan American games. These experiences not only broadened my horizons but also showcased the diverse talent and rich culture of soccer."

Transitioning from playing to coaching, Roget had the opportunity to make a positive impact at Eastlake High School. As a coach, he and his team achieved remarkable milestones, including winning the league and becoming CIF Finalists. He also had the honor of coaching at SDSU under the esteemed guidance of Mike Friesen, where they clinched a conference championship.

In addition to coaching at San Diego City, Roget is a dedicated coach at Rebels Soccer Club where he strives to inspire and nurture the next generation of soccer talents. He is proud to hold a B license, which allows him to continually develop his coaching abilities and provide the best guidance to his players.
