Logan Huston Named to All-State Team
Sophomore guard Logan Huston has been named to the 2025 California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) All-State Team after a stellar season in which he helped lead the Knights to a second consecutive Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship.
Sophomore guard Logan Huston has been named to the 2025 California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA) All-State Team after a stellar season in which he helped lead the Knights to a second consecutive Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship.
Huston, who was also chosen as the PCAC Player of the Year, led the Knights in scoring with 14.6 points per game while shooting 56% from the floor and 46.2% on 3-pointers. He was a lockdown defender on a San Diego City squad that finished with the No. 1 defense in the state, allowing only 60.5 points per game.
He also averaged 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.2 steals.
Huston becomes the 12th Knight to have made the all-state team during the Mitch Chalens era, which began in 2004.
In addition to Huston, San Diego City has had a total of 13 all-state selections since 2001. The list includes Gilbert Pietrie (2000-01), Malcolm Thomas (2008-09), Terrence Boyd (2010-11), Stephon Lamar (2011-12), Martin Thomas (2013-14), Leonard Allen (2015-16), Taylor Nelson (2015-16), Darien McClain (2016-17), Robert McCoy (2017-18), Jonathan Ogugua (2021-22), KJay Bradley (2023-24), and Alex Crawford (2023-24).
