After another stellar PCAC season in which the Knights went 15-1 on their way to a second straight conference championship, San Diego City has once again recieved the PCAC's top awards along with six all-conference selections. Head Coach Mitch Charlens has been named conference Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year and sophomore Logan Huston was tabbed as the Player of the Year.
Huston, along with Kenny Gonzalez and Marley Gonzalez were chosen as all-PCAC first team members. Reid Celestin and Junior Camacho were selected to the all-PCAC second team, and Cameron Marshall earned honorable mention.
Charlens, who has now led San Diego City to nine PCAC titles since becoming head coach in 2004, has earned his ninth conference Coach of the Year award. His Knights finished 23-5 overall during the 2024-25 regular season, making it the 11th time during his tenure at San Diego City College that they have surpassed the 20-win mark.
"The Coach of the Year award is truly a group project," said Charlens. "If I don't have great players and coaches sacrificing and committing to the team, then I don't get the award.
"Everyone in the program plays a part," Charlens continued. "Our redshirts compete everyday against the active roster guys and they kick their butts many days! If our trainers, support staff, and athletic counselors don't keep the guys healthy and eligible, we don't get any awards. It's a group project."
It's the second consecutive year that his Knights have completed the PCAC season with only one loss. They haven't dropped more than two PCAC games in a season since 2018-19.

Huston, who is the second consecutive Player of the Year from San Diego City (KJay Bradley, 2024), also averaged 3.7 rebound, 2.8 assists, and 2.3 steals.
He becomes the 10th Knight to receive Player of the Year since 2009.
