Bennett Parry is entering his first season as the pitching coach at San Diego City College. Before diving into coaching, Coach Parry had a successful 12-year run as a professional baseball player. He pitched in the minors for the Baltimore Orioles from 2011-2017, and then played predominantly in the Chinese Professional Baseball League and the Mexican Baseball League from 2018-2022.

A product of collegiate athletics, Coach Parry played at Cal State Northridge, demonstrating a commitment to excellence that would help guide his future endeavors. Originally from Poway, CA, and an alumnus of Poway High School, Coach Parry’s roots remain firmly grounded in the local baseball community.

Now, in his role as pitching coach, Coach Parry blends his extensive playing career with a deliberate and mentorship-focused coaching style. His professional journey and dedication to player development mark him as a key figure in the shaping of future baseball talent.
