The victory was City's fourth in a row and its fifth in the last six games after starting the season with 12 straight losses.
City held a 1-0 lead going into the 7th, but San Bernardino scored four runs off two doubles to grab a 4-1 lead. The Knights, however, responded quickly with six runs in the bottom of the 7th to regain a 7-4 lead.
The Knights scored in a variety of ways, including a Brendan Gerbert bases-loaded walk, an RBI-ground ball from Alex Garcia, a bases-loaded wild pitch, a Hector Carreon sacrifice fly, and a Nick Mora RBI single.
San Bernardino scored a run in the top of the 8th to cut the Knight's lead to 7-5, but that was all closer Joe Dowdy allowed as he earned his first save of the season.
Knights' starting pitcher gave up only one hit with four strikeouts in five innings of work.
The Knights improved to 5-4 in the PCAC and 5-13 overall. They will start a 3-game series with Imperial Valley on the road on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Knights will be back home on Thursday at 2 p.m. and Friday at 1 p.m.
