Against Glendale, City's No.1 duo of Allison Wygal and Cassie Stevens earned a 21-7, 21-7 win over Glendale's No. 1 duo.
At the No. 2 position, Kailey Vecchia and Danna Gallardo faced tough competition from Glendale's No. 2 team, but the Knights prevailed 21-19, 21-15.
Lauren Eastman and Diana Ramirez dominated their match at the No. 3 spot and finished off Glendale's duo, 21-8, 21-9.
The No. 4 team consisting of Aamori Daniels and Lana Dy won the first match, 21-13, and gutted out a 21-19 to avoid a deciding set.
San Diego City nearly forced a third set at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions, but Wygal/Stevens were edged out 21-12, 21-19 by Saddleback's Meg Gardner and Cori Wilcoxson.
City's No. 3 duro, Eastman/Ramirez, lost to Saddleback's Sara Johnson and Carolina Mcnamee 21-16, 23-21.
