City Gets A 7-2 Win at Southwestern
The Knights got back in the win column by getting a 7-2 road win at Southwestern on Monday. It was their first PCAC victory of the season as the Knights improved to 1-1 in the conference and 2-5 overall.

City got off to a nice start by winning two of the three doubles matches, including an 8-2 victory by the No. 1 duo of Sinaia Haskal and Lucia Farmer. The No. 2 team of Faith Satrya and Charlee FitzMaurice did not give up a game as they went on to win, 8-0. Pilar Craft and Arleen Torres lost their doubles match, 8-1.
After winning her No. 1 doubles match, Farmer went on to get a 6-3 and 6-1 No. 1 singles victory over Anna Ilusorio. Haskal only gave up one game in her 6-0 and 6-1 win over Loraine Parayno at No. 2 singles.
At the No. 3 singles position, Satrya defeated Neddah Nourbaksh, 6-2 and 6-1, while FitzMarurice and Leila Adel each did quick work with 6-0 and 6-0 victories at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively.
Madeline Satrya battled, but fell in two sets to Katrina Pacheco, 6-3 and 7-5.
The Knights will face Imperial Valley at home on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
