Maya Dickerson, a catcher and outfielder from San Carlos, Calif., has committed to join the Knights for the 2024 season. First-year head coach AJ Hull, who took over the program in the fall of 2022 has been recruiting hard for the 2024 season and Dickerson the second student-athlete to commit for next year.
"I'm excited to start this new chapter in life and I can't wait to have the best two years," said Dickerson.
She will be part of Hull's vision for the future of San Diego City College softball. "It's my goal to rebuild City softball," said Hull. "Starting with a sound foundation and setting in good solid bones to build on and around, as well as get the word out to promote City's brand to recruit great student-athletes that strive to be challenged, seek self improvement, understand team concept, and desire to make a difference on the field and beyond."
