Lozoya, Delgado Lead Knights at Mesa Invite
Alan Lozoya and Armando Delgado were San Diego City's top finishers at the San Diego Mesa Invite on Friday as they clocked in at 23:58.6 and 24:06.0, respectively. As a team, the Knights did not perform as well as they had hoped and came in 15th place.

The Knights were a minute and 25 seconds slower (2:03:40) at this meet than they were at last week's Bakersfield Invitational (2:02:15).
Lozoya (126th) and Delgado (128th) were followed by Jonathan Garcia (145th) who finished the 4-mile course in 24:46.7. Nathaniel Loving (150th), who led the Knights at the Bakersfield Invitational, was the fourth Knights to cross the finish line with a time of 25:06.5.
Antonio Quintana (160th; 25:42.8), Robert Gonzalez (166th; 26:08.4), and Uriel Lopez (181st; 27:28.4) rounded out the top seven for San Diego City.
The Knights will have a two-week break before the next meet at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Oct. 15 at 10:45 a.m.
