Knights Sweep MSJC; Finish 2nd in IEAC
The Knights wrapped up the Inland Empire Athletic Conference season with a 9-0 home victory over Mt. San Jacinto to secure a second place finish with a 10-2 record. Thursday's win was the fifth straight by way of a sweep and the eighth time the Knights have blanked a team this season.

City started the day off with three doubles wins, one of which was by forfeit. Nik Speshilov and Andrew Suver teamed up at the No. 1 spot and earned an 8-0 victory over Andy Gibson/Gerson Rivera-Garcia.
Brian Espinoza and Sebastian Castaneda also got an 8-0 win over John Gagnepain and Patrick Bellah in No. 2 doubles.
All five singles matches that were played ended in straight set victories for the Knights. Speshilov won 6-0 and 6-0 over Gibson in No. 1 singles, while No. 2 Suver shut down Rivera-Garcia.
Eduardo Castillo (No. 3), Gianmaria Di Filipo (No. 4), and Danny Cao (No. 5) defeated Gagnepain, Bellah, and Joseph Velasquez 6-0 and 6-0, respectively.
