Velazquez Named to CCCSCA All-Region South Team
Isaac Velazquez's incredible season earned him the PCAC Offensive Player of the Year award and now he has been recognized by the CCCSCA as an All-Region South team selectee.

Guillen, Velazquez, Woodworth Earn Major PCAC Awards
San Diego City had it's most successful conference season in four years, and as a result, the Knights earned some major awards. Sebastian Guillen was named PCAC Goalkeeper of the Year and Knights' leading scorer, Isaac Velazquez, was chosen as the PCAC Offensive Player of the Year. Brett Woodworth had a great season himself and was selected to the All-PCAC team along with Guillen and Velazquez.

The Knights got past Imperial Valley, 3-1, on Tuesday for their second consecutive win and third in the last four with Isaac Velazquez scoring a brace and Carls Gudiel putting in his first goal of the season.

Velazquez Shines With Four Goals in Win at Palomar
San Diego City fell behind twice on Friday night, but Isaac Velazquez earned the man of the match by scoring four second half goals to lead the Knights to a thrilling 4-3 road win at Palomar as they avenged a last-minute home loss to the Comets in late September. Velazquez is now tied for the most goals in the state with 18.

The Knights got a much-needed 2-1 victory at Mesa on Friday with Brett Woodworth scoring the game-winner on a penalty kick in the second half to help City improve to 2-3 in the PCAC with seven games remaining.

Woodworth Scores Game-Winner in Victory Over IVC
Isaac Velazquez continuted his hot scoring streak with two goals on Friday and Brett Woodworth added the game-winner in the 82nd minute to give the Knights a 3-2 home win over Imperial Valley, City's third win in the last four games.

Late Goals Give Knights 4-2 Win Over VVC
Friday's home game against Victor Valley was a back-and-forth affair with the visitors equalizing on two occasions, but the Knights two leading scorers, Isaac Velazquez and Brett Woodworth, each put in a goal in the final 20 minutes to give them a 4-2 win, their second in a row.

Velazquez With a Hat Trick in 4-3 Win at OCC
Freshman midfielder Isaac Velazquez scored three goals on Tuesday night, including two in the final 12 minutes, to help the Knights earn their first win of the season, 4-3, at Orange Coast. Brett Woodworth scored the other goal, his fifth of the year.

Knights Salvage a Draw With Late Goals
The Knights, who dropped their first two games of the season, fell behind 3-1 late in the second half on Friday, but scored twice in the final 14 minutes to secure a 3-3 draw at Compton. Isaac Velasquez scored a brace for City, including the game-tying goal, and Brett Woodworth added a goal and two assists.
