KNIGHTS GET NO. 2 SEED IN 3C2A TOURNAMENT
San Diego City has earned the No. 2 seed in the 3C2A Southern California regional tournament after going 24-4 overall and 15-1 in the PCAC to win the title. As a top-4 seed for the fourth straight postseason, the Knights have a first-round bye and will host a second round game on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. against the winner of the No. 15 Pasadena (18-10)/No. 18 L.A. Southwest (18-10) matchup to be played on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m.

The Knights will enter their 10th consecutive postseason having won eight straight and 15 of their last 16 games. The No. 2 seed is their best since 2018 when they were the earned the No. 1 spot.
This is the 12th time that the Knights have qualified for the postseason under head coach Mitch Charlens, who was named 2023-24 PCAC Coach of the Year on Saturday.
Under Charlens, the Knights have advanced to the sweet sixteen five times, the elite eight three times, the final four twice, and the final twice since he became head coach in 2004. After winning the state title in 2017, the Knights made it back to the final in 2018.
Admission for the Saturday's playoff at Harry West Gym is $12 for the general public and $8 for students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children less than 12 years of age.
