Knights Beat Cuyamaca for 23rd Straight Time
Anjay Cortez went 8-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-5 from the free throw line, to lead the Knights with 20 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in a 94-69 home victory over Cuyamaca. It was the 23rd consecutive win over the Coyotes as the Knights improved to 18-4 overall and 9-1 in the PCAC.

Four others scored in double figures for City, including Keavie Love who hit 4-of-6 on 3s on his way to a season-high 14 points off the bench. Lorenzo Wright also shot well from deep, making 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, and finished with 13 points, also off the bench.
Kailen Rains produced 12 points to go with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Al Green added 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the Knights' third straight win.
Cuyamaca (3-18, 1-8 PCAC) hung with the Knights for the first seven minutes of the first half, tying the game at 14-14, but City rolled off 11 straight points, including two 3s from Wright to take a 25-14 lead midway through the first half.
The Knights then blew the game open by finishing the final 6:34 of the half on a 24-7 run to take a 25-point halftime lead.
City's lead grew to as many as 29 points in the second half as the Knights went on to win their 10th in the last 11 games.
The Knights shot 60.7% for the game and won the rebound battle, 38-20, which led to a 22-4 advantage on second chance points.
They will play their fourth consecutive home game on Monday at 5 p.m. against Mesa (10-11, 5-4 PCAC)
