KNIGHTS DEFEAT RIO HONDO, 3-1, IN PLAY-IN ROUND
The No. 18-seeded Knights (15-10) pulled off an upset on Saturday as they got past No. 15 Rio Hondo, 3-1 (25-17, 25-20, 20-25, 25-18) in the play-in round of the CCCAA Southern California regionals.

The unranked Knights pulled of an upset on Friday as they defeated 11th ranked MiraCosta on Friday in five sets (28-26, 16-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-13) to earn their third consecutive win.

San Diego City's women's volleyball team won its second consecutive match on Wednesday by sweeping Palomar, 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-23) to improve to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in the PCAC.

The San Diego City College women's volleyball team played a second consecutive 5-setter on Friday, but came away victorious this time as they battled back to win the final two sets and defeat East Los Angeles, 3-2 (17-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16, 15-6).
