No. 5 Knights Set to Play No. 1 Bakersfield in 1st Round Playoff

San Diego City earned the No. 5 seed in the 3C2A Southern California regional tournament and will travel to play at No. 1 Bakersfield on Tuesday, April 8 at 1 p.m. It's the second consecutive season that the Knights have qualified for the postseason and the third time under head coach Jami Yonekura-Jones.

Two days after clinching their second consecutive outright PCAC championship with a 9-0 win over Mt. San Jacinto, the Knights swept Imperial Valley, 9-0, to complete a perfect conference season in which they did not lose any singles or doubles matches.

The Knights clinched at least a share of the PCAC title after sweeping Mt. San Jacinto, 9-0, on Thursday and can claim their second consecutive outright championship with one win in their final two conference matches.

No. 4 Knights Extend Win Streak to Seven

San Diego City's women't tennis team, ranked No. 4 in Southern California, continued its dominating run with 9-0 victories over Southwestern and El Camino this week. The Knights have now extended their win streak to seven, all of which were 9-0 sweeps.

Knights Get 5th Straight Sweep

San Diego City's women's tennis team, which has won seven of its first nine matches, is off to its best start since the 2017 season when they went 7-3 in the first 10 matches. The Knights defeated Rio Hondo, 9-0, on Thursday to make it five consecutive wins, all of which were 9-0 sweeps.
