Milner With 18 Points in 57-37 Win Over Saddleback

Karla Mendoza added 10 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks, while Lajaei West put in 12 points to go along with five rebounds and two steals.
The Knights came out strong on both ends of the floor as they forced Saddleback into seven turnovers in the first five minutes and built a 13-2 lead that they would keep throughout the game.
San Diego City was ahead 20-11 after one quarter and then outscored the Gauchos, 21-5, in the second quarter to take a 41-16 halftime lead. The Knights' full-court press really bothered Saddleback as they committed 17 turnovers in that second period.
Milner scored 10 of her game-high 18 points in that second quarter on 4-of-8 shooting.
City went ahead by as many as 30 points in the third quarter as they cruised to their eighth win in the last 10 games.
The Knights scored 35 points off Saddleback's 41 turnovers and won the rebound battle 49-36.
The Knights will be off until January 6 when they will host Los Angeles Trade Tech at 5 p.m.
