The Knights defeated Mesa. 17-4, on Wednesday to clinch their fourth consecutive Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship.

SDCC improved to 5-0 on the season and have now won 26 straight PCAC matches, a streak that started in 2012.
By winning the conference, the Knights have qualified for the CCCAA Southern California playoff, which will be played at Harry West Gym on Wednesday, April 29 at 3:00 p.m. against Pasadena City College.
The winner of the playoff will advance to the state championship match on Thursday, May 7 at Irvine Valley College.
The Knights will be looking to play in their fourth straight championship match. SDCC won the state title in 2012, but lost to De Anza in 2013 and 2014.
The Knights also won state championships in 2006, 2007, and 2008, all under current Head Coach Son Nguyen.
