Knights Sweep Victor Valley for 3rd Win in a Row
The Knights had their six-match win streak snapped on March 15 by first-place College of the Desert, but the Knights responded by winning three straight since, including a 9-0 win at Victor Valley. City improved to 12-2 overall and 9-2 in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference, which is good for second place.

The 9-0 win over Victor Valley was the third consecutive sweep, which also included a 9-0 home win over Imperial Valley and a 6-0 home victory over William Jessup University. In all, seven of the Knights' 12 wins have been sweeps.
On Tuesday, the duo of Brian Espinoza and Sebastian Castaneda defeated Hunter and Tanner McBride, 8-2, while Cody Jensen and Gianmaria Di Filipo got past Jaylon Bertz and Eduard Duarte, 8-1.
In singles action, Andrew Suver won his match over Hunter McBride, 6-0 and 6-1, at the No. 1 spot. Espinoza earned a 6-0 and 6-1 victory over Tanner McBride.
The Knights did not allow their opponents at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots to win a game with Eduardo Castillo taking down Bertz, 6-0 and 6-0 in No. 3 singles, while Jensen won 6-0 and 6-0 over Duarte at the No. 4 position.
Di Filipo finished off Nicholas Olea, 6-1 and 6-1, in No. 5 singles.
The Knights will play Div. I UCSD on Wednesday, March 23 at 9 a.m. before closing out the IEAC shedule with a home match vs. Mt. San Jacinto on March 24.
