KJay Bradley and Alex Crawford have been named to the National Association of Basketbal Coaches (NABC) All-America team after having a standout 2023-24 season in which they led the Knights to the quarterfinals of the 3C2A state championship tournament.
Bradley and Crawford, who are the first two Knights in recorded history to receive this accolade, were also selected to the CCCMBCA All-State team in March. It was the first time since 2015-16 that two Knights earned all-state recognition in the same year.
Before making it to the state quarterfinals for the first time since 2018, Bradley and Crawford helped San Diego City capture its second PCAC championship in three years by going 15-1 in conference play.
Bradley was tabbed as the PCAC Player of the Year and Crawford was named to the all-PCAC first team.
Bradley finished his sophomore season as the team leader in points (17.2 ppg), assists (5.5 apg), and steals (2.7 spg). He also led the Knights in 3-point field goals made (64) while shooting 40.3% from deep.
Crawford ended up shooting 65.7% in 2023-24, which was the fifth best percentage in the state. He averaged 15.6 points, a team-best 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals.
Both will be playing NCAA Division I hoops next season with Bradley joining the University of San Diego and Crawford suiting up for Fresno State.
