For the third consecutive year and the fourth time in the last five, the Knights have gone undefeated in the PCAC South. City wrapped up another 10-0 conference season on Friday with a 99-76 home victory over rival Mesa, the 22nd straight over the Olympians.

The Knights are 28-0 in the PCAC South over the last three seasons and 42-2 over the last five. They also went undefeated (8-0) in 2014.
The Knights improved to 29-2 overall, which is the best record in school history, and they will head into their fifth straight postseason appearance riding a 22-game win streak, the longest in team history.
Seven players scored in double figures on Friday, including Robert Taylor who led the team with 17 points. Wonder Smith poured in 14 points to go with seven assists, four rebounds, and four steals.
Luis Salgado added 12 points and six rebounds, while Darius Lee scored 10 points.
Isaac Davis, Joseph Riley, and Adrian Byrd-Jelinek each contributed 11 points off the bench.
City scored the first eight points of the game and never looked back as they kept building on that great start. The Knights shot 56.4 percent in the first half and used a 22-6 run to help them gain a 26-point halftime lead.
The Olympians, who have not beaten the Knights since January 13, 2007, couldn't get any closer than 18 points in the second half as the Knights cruised to their 22nd straight victory.
The defending state champions are 60-7 over the last two seasons and have won 16 straight at home.
City is 46-2 since January 4, 2017 with the two losses coming by a total of three points.
The Knights finished the regular season as the No. 1 ranked team in Southern California and No. 2 in the state.
